Abissinian cats

Before he was banished to the cattery

Pretty Boy is one of the few to have a nickname, but it suits him better than his real name. He has had a good deal of success, much to my surprise. I thought he was OK except for his Roman nose, but he has grown into that and I'm now happy with him.

Abissinian cats

He produces kittens with lovely strong colour and is very affectionate.

George Kennedy used him as a stud and had him tested for PKDef. The result was inconclusive but, after George had his kittens tested, and they were carriers, like their mother, the lab said that they "had come to the conclusion" that he was "Affected". The lab will not do a test unless they have the pedigree of the animal being tested.

When the Aby Club asked for volunteers to have the test done, I re-submitted PB's DNA with a different name and pedigree. THIS TIME, HE WAS SAID TO BE "NORMAL".
